Itinerary:
Day 1 - Anchorage
Your tour begins today with your arrival in Alaska's largest city. Transfer to your hotel is included
.
Day 2 - Anchorage to Denali National Park
This morning board the Luxury Dome rail for your trip to Denali National Park. Travel north passing through the fertile Matanuska Valley and over Hurricane Gulch on the way to Denali. You arrive in the late afternoon and enjoy a free evening.
Day 3 - Denali National Park
Today is yours to schedule your personal exploration of the Park. Click Here for all the possible tour options you have to customize your stay in the Park.
Day 4 - Denali National Park to Fairbanks
The morning is free to explore more of the Park. Later this afternoon board the Luxury Dome railcars for your journey to Fairbanks.
Day 5 - Fairbanks Sightseeing
Relax this morning or explore the "Golden Heart City" on your own. This afternoon transfer to Discovery Landing where you will board the Riverboat Discovery, for journey back in time when the riverboat was main transportation link for Alaska's vast interior. After your tour your are transferred back to your hotel.
Day 6 - The Alaska Highway to Whitehorse
The adventure begins as you head out of Fairbanks on the Alaska Highway. This highway constructed during World War II was the main supply route to bases in Alaska. As you head south you travel through the towns of North Pole, Tok (Dog Sled Capital of Alaska), and once across the border you travel along Kluane National Park. Kluane is home to Canada's highest peak and is one of the largest in Canada.
Day 7 - Whitehorse to Skagway
This morning depart Whitehorse via motorcoach for the town of Carcross. As you drive the Klondike Highway you will pass the northernmost desert. In Carcross you will board the train for the remainder of the journey to Skagway via the White Pass.
Day 8 - Skagway and Cruise
This morning is yours to explore the legendary Gold Rush capital of Skagway. The town is a National Park and you have time to stroll the boardwalks in this historic city. In the late afternoon embark your cruise ship and depart for Glacier Bay. (D)
Day 6 - Glacier Bay
Today cruise one of our great National Parks. A Park Ranger will be on board to explain all wonders you will see today. Be on deck early so you do miss a thing. (B, L, D) lacier Bay
Day 7 - Ketchikan
You visit the "Salmon Capital of Alaska" today where they measure precipitation in feet not inches. There many interesting sights and tours for you to partake in today. Remember to stroll Creek Street and learn of its colorful past. (B, L, D)
Day 8 - Cruising Inside Passage
Enjoy a day of cruising through this scenic waterway and the many shipboard activities. (B, L, D)
Day 9 - Vancouver, BC
Arrive in Vancouver (Canada Place) this morning and transfer to the airport for your return home. (B)
