Itinerary:
Day 1 - Vancouver, BC
Arrive in Vancouver and transfer to Canada Place for your afternoon departure. Your cruise will depart at 5:00pm this evening and sail majestically under the Lion's Gate Bridge to Alaska. (D)
Day 2 - Cruising Inside Passage
Enjoy a day of cruising through this scenic waterway and the many shipboard activities. (B, L, D)
Day 3 - Juneau
You arrive this morning in Alaska's Capital, and the only city in America with a glacier within the city limits. Plan your day there are endless sightseeing options for you to partake in. (B, L, D)
Day 4 - Arrive Skagway and on to
Whitehorse
This morning you arrive in Skagway the Gateway to the Klondike. You disembark your cruise ship and have time to explore. This afternoon you depart for Whitehorse aboard the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad. Ascend the White Pass on one of last narrow gauge railroads in the world. At the top of the Pass board a coach for the trip into Whitehorse. (B)
Day 5 – Whitehorse to Dawson City
Continue the adventure as you continue to retrace the steps of the men seeking their fortune in Dawson. You travel by the mighty Yukon River viewing Five Finger Rapids, Carmacks and famous Lake Labarge.
Day 6 – Yukon River Excursion
Today board the Yukon Queen II for journey on the Yukon River to Eagle Alaska. Eagle was the first seat of justice in Alaska. You will have time to explore the town before returning up river to Dawson.
Day 7 – Dawson City to Fairbanks
Your journey will take the over the Top of the World Highway through the town of Chicken and from there on to Tok where we join the Alaska Highway. Tok is known as the “Dogsled Capital of the World”. As we travel on into Fairbanks we will pass the North Pole, home of Santa Claus's house. From there our journey ends as we arrive at our hotel in Fairbanks.
Day 8 – Fairbanks Sightseeing
This morning is free to relax and enjoy the sights of Fairbanks “The Golden Heart City”. This afternoon transfer to Discovery Landing where you will board the Riverboat Discovery for scenic and historic look at travel on rivers of the North.
Day 9 - Fairbanks to Denali National Park
This morning board the Luxury Dome rail for your trip to Denali National Park. Travel south passing through Nenana where each year a lottery is held to guess when the ice will officially break in the river. Arrive at Denali Park at noon and transfer to your hotel.
Day 10 - Denali National Park
Today is yours to schedule your personal exploration of the Park. Click Here for all the possible tour options you have to customize your stay in the Park.
Day11 - Denali National Park to Anchorage
The morning is free to explore more of the Park. At noon today board the Luxury Dome railcars for your journey to Anchorage.
Day 12 - Home
Today you are transferred to the airport for your flight home.
