Day 1 -
Fairbanks
Arrive in Fairbanks on your own. The remainder of the day is free to explore the city.
Day 2 -
Fairbanks Sightseeing
This afternoon board the sternwheeler Riverboat Discovery for a cruise on the Chena and Tanana Rivers. Included is a stop at an Indian village and a dog sled demonstration. (CB)
Day 3 -
Fairbanks to
Denali
Backcountry Area
Today you board the luxury dome rail cars for your picturesque ride along the Nenana River to Denali National Park. Board your bus for the scenic 95-mile drive to Kantishna arriving in time for a late dinner. (D)
Day 4 -
Kantishna and
Denali
Backcountry Area
Enjoy the wilderness of the park, join a hike guided by a Kantishna naturalist, pan for gold, try a mountain bike or simply enjoy relaxing at the lodge. All home-cooked meals are included. (B, L, D)
Day 5 -
Kantishna to
Talkeetna
After breakfast at the Lodge this morning depart on your flightseeing trip to Talkeetna. You will fly over Denali National Park and have glorious views (weather permitting) of Mt. McKinley. Upon arrival you're transferred to the Talkeetna Lodge. Later today enjoy a Wilderness Jet Boat Safari. (B)
Day 6 -
Talkeetna to
Winterlake Lodge
Mid morning board your floatplane for the short flight to Winterlake Lodge. Located on the Iditarod Trail this Lodge offers a relaxed pace. Here one can enjoy hiking trails; natural history tours and learn more about the "Last Great Race". (L, D)
Day 7 -
Winterlake Lodge
to
Redoubt Bay Lodge
This morning enjoy breakfast at the Lodge before departing by floatplane to Redoubt Bay Lodge for some great bear viewing. Upon arrival your guides will explain how these wonderful creatures live in this area. Back at the Lodge you will enjoy gourmet meals. (B, L, D)
Day 8 -
Redoubt Bay Lodge
to
Anchorage
This morning enjoy breakfast at the Lodge before departing by floatplane to Anchorage. Transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore Anchorage. (B)

Anchorage
