Climb through the majestic Brooks Mountain Range and over the Continental Divide at Atigun Pass. Explore up close the amazing arctic tundra of the Arctic Coastal Plain and feel the veins of ice just beneath the surface. Overnight in Prudhoe Bay.
This morning enjoy a tour of the starting point for the Trans Alaska Pipeline and Prudhoe Bay. You will also visit the shores of the Arctic Ocean. Return to Fairbanks on a late afternoon flight.
Enjoy the Sternwheeler Discovery on the Chena and Tanana Rivers. Enjoy lively narration as you view log homes, a trapper's cabin and make a stop at an authentic Athabascan Indian Village.
The El Dorado Gold Mine Tour takes you to a working gold mine. Travel through a permafrost tunnel aboard a narrow-gauge train. Walk through this gold camp and learn about placer mining. Try your hand at panning for gold from the sluice box.
Today you will fly Anchorage. Upon arrival you will catch the afternoon coach with direct service to Seward/Whittier with no stops enroute. Scheduled arrival is 5:45pm. You will be dropped off at your waiting Cruiseship.
