You will set out on an adventure from Skagway into the Yukon Territory in a four-wheel drive Jeep Wrangler®. A tour guide in the lead Jeep® will entertain you with the lore of the gold rush era. View Pitchfork Falls, Moore Bridge, Dead Horse Gulch, Bracket Wagon Trail and Tormented Valley enroute to the historic village of Carcross and the headwaters of the Yukon River. This spellbinding adventure crosses an international border, so you must bring your passport or a driver's license plus a birth certificate! Note: Drivers must be at least 25 years of age, have a valid drivers license in their possession and sign a liability/insurance waiver. Tour passes through both Canada and U.S. Customs. Under Canadian law requires proper id to cross the border and return to the US. |

SESK03 Salmon Bake at Liarsville

Feast on Alaskan wild salmon grilled over an open fire as part of this feast in the forest. Enjoy baked chicken, beans, rice pilaf, a variety of salads, cornbread and dessert. This delicious meal also includes a visit to an 1898 replica campsite located in the historic Liarsville region. While you partake in all of the modern conveniences and menu items from our century, take the time to reflect on how the prospectors of yesteryear survived. A shuttle service between downtown and the salmon bake is provided. |

SESK06 Liarsville Gold Rush Trail Camp & Salmon Bake

At the foot of the White Pass, nestled beside a waterfall, discover Liarsville Gold Rush Trail Camp and Salmon Bake. Here a cast of sourdoughs and dance hall girls will entertain you with a hilarious melodrama and a poem by the "Bard of the North," Robert Service, and teach you the art of gold panning! Then, you will be set free in the Liarsville gold fields, where you are guaranteed to find that precious metal that drove men and women wild with gold fever!
Head for the barbecue for a freshly grilled filet of wild Alaskan salmon along with baked chicken, rice pilaf, a variety of salads, baked beans, cornbread, coffee, lemonade, and dessert. After lunch, wander over to camp and enjoy the waterfall and authentic exhibits of Liarsville as well as have your picture taken with one of the dance hall girls or the camp's lovable mascot, an Alaskan husky. |
