Shore Excursions
RESERVATIONS AND FINAL PAYMENT:
All shore excursion bookings must be paid for by a major credit card. After Knightly Tours confirms your tours, per your requested times, your card will be charged and you or your agent notified.
PRICING:
All pricing is per-person ($US) at the time of publication. Prices may change at any time based on changes in vendor pricing. Children's rates are quoted for children under 12 years of age at time of travel, if available.
CONFIRMATION OF SCHEDULES:
Once confirmed you will be given an exact departure time. All tour departures are confirmed on the basis of AM or PM, or the exact time available, based on your booking request. If Knightly Tours is unable to confirm the times requested, an alternative will be provided. If this does not meet with your approval, your card will not be charged. Upon confirmation, cancellation and change fees will apply.
EXACT BOOKING INFORMATION:
No flight-seeing, or helicopter reservations will be made without guests' exact name, weights and ages for children. No water based activities can be confirmed for children under 40lbs, or who cannot wear a USCG approved life vest. Guests are responsible for providing exact information on the booking form. Incomplete reservation forms will not be confirmed.
GUESTS EXCEEDING WEIGHT LIMITS:
Guest over 250lbs. will be required to pay a surcharge of 50% for travel on all helicopter based excursions. All guests will have to weigh in before flights to confirm if a surcharge is necessary.
PHONE SERVICE AND CHANGES:
A $25 per person fee will be assessed for changes made after receipt of final payment. In addition a $20 service fee will be assessed for bookings made via the telephone.
DOCUMENTS:
Mailed 14 days after confirmation and will include a detailed itinerary with names, addresses, phone numbers and tour vouchers. All documents are sent USPS. Guests may request another form of shipping at their expense.
VOLUNTARY CANCELLATION CHARGES:
Cancellations made before 30 days prior to service will receive a full refund less $25 per person administration fee. Voluntary and non use of reservations will result in a 100% cancellation penalty.
INVOLUNTARY CANCELLATIONS:
Should the tour you are confirmed on, not operate because of weather restrictions, late arrival of your vessel, or operator malfunction you will be eligible for a full refund. Please request refunds in writing within 30 days of completion of the trip for services cancelled or altered by a specific vendor. All refund requests must be made through the original booking agent.
GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES / PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS:
You are responsible for determining your fitness for any trip and must notify Knightly Tours at time of booking of any physical or mental limitations that would require special services while traveling on one of our itineraries. Failure to notify Knightly Tours of the above conditions can result in loss of fares paid by the traveler to Knightly Tours.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
All tours are handled under the business management of Knightly Travel Services, Inc. (dba Knightly Tours), at 2710 1st Avenue South #200, Seattle, WA 98134, (206) 938-8567. Written notification of claims against Knightly Tours must be given within 60 days of completion of tour and suits must be filed in the Court of the State of Washington. Knightly Tours acts solely as the agent for various transportation companies and sightseeing contractors and assumes no responsibility for any personal injury sustained while traveling to/from or in Alaska, or for loss or damage to any personal belongings while on our tour. Acceptance of Knightly Tours travel documents by agent or individual is considered approval of all above conditions.
