This afternoon depart by motorcoach for your scenic ride to the port of Whittier where your ship is waiting. Set sail this afternoon aboard the Spirit of Columbia and enjoy early evening cruising to Blackstone Glacier. (D)
Day 3 -
College Fjord /
Esther Passage
Home to 26 different tidewater glaciers, this area has one of the largest concentrations of rivers of ice in all of North America. Later, your small ship will navigate the narrow waterways of Esther Passage watch for orcas and eagles. (B, L, D)
Day 4 -
Chenega Glacier /
Knight Island
The remote southwest corner of Prince William Sound is home to Knight Island where you will spend a full day of cruising. Following the winding Icy Bay up to spectacular Chenega Glacier provides an opportunity to see glaciers calving. (B, L, D)
Day 5 - Cruising /
Anchorage
Enjoy a morning visit to a large kittiwake colony then return to Whittier where you will disembark. Transfer back to Anchorage via motorcoach. (B)
Day 6 -
Anchorage /
Denali
Transfer to the rail depot this morning and depart on the Classic Dome railcars for a scenic trip to Denali National Park. Arrive in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel.
